The new ColorBath series is an immersion into color and light. In these large mixed media prints I explore the alchemy of reflection and refraction in the Pacific Northwest harbor. The work blends my on-site photography with watercolor to create a contemporary hybrid medium. The images range in size from 30 inches square to 30 by 40 inches, and are printed with the finest archival inks on German Etching paper. (Note that WordPress has not yet caught up to retina display. If you are viewing these on a large iMac or other lcd display they may look soft. They are actually very crisp and fine in detail, and the most accurate viewing may be on a laptop or older Mac. )
