About the Iskra Fine Art Shop
Shipping and handling is included in all listed prices. If you are viewing on your phone and want to sort work by category, the galleries are listed at the end of the first page of images. You may also view the Iskra Fine Art Shop through Etsy if that is your preferred platform. If you purchase directly from me in a studio visit, cost is discounted to reflect that there is no shipping and handling. Introducing the first two cards in The Magnolia Suite:
Magnolia Eva and Magnolia Grace, created in memory of my grandmother
In my garden I have four magnolia trees, give or take a winter storm. I have been studying these trees and the lifecycle of their flowers, drawing, painting and photographing, for 20 years. These two cards (available also as larger prints) were created in honor of my grandmother, Grace, who was known as The Flower Lady in her neighborhood.
The original artwork is created from a blend of my own photography and painting and printed by me in my studio on fine Moab Entrada Rag paper. This heavyweight 100% paper has a unique soft texture ideal both for fine art printing and for writing with pencil or pen. The cards are printed with archival inks and are suitable for framing. Larger limited edition prints of these artworks are available in my shop, links below.
A note on envelopes: To keep cards affordable I have been using a standard grade envelope stock. I am now offering an upgrade to deluxe envelopes in the same paper used for the cards. These envelopes transform writing an address into pure pleasure.

Each card is individually wrapped with an envelope in a clear cello bag ideal for giving as gifts. Cards fold to 5x7 inches to fit an A7 envelope, a generous size offering room to write a letter or a brief note as you choose.
