Part of a series of drawings inspired by my garden done with charcoal powder, paint, pastel and water on archival paper. These drawings are evanescent and seek to capture fleeting moments of light and form. They are fragile, and are usually sold directly from my studio framed with glass and a mat for $400 before tax.
I am now offering a special collection of unframed drawings from the series. They are loose, and sometimes messy, and sold just as they came off the drawing board. The drawings are spray-fixed but as with any charcoal or pastel drawing they are fragile and should be handled with care. They are shipped in sturdy cardboard and meant to be matted for display and framing. For framing glass is advised as plexiglass has static electricity and should never be used for charcoal or pastel as there is a risk it will lift the material from the paper. The framing picture in this listing is a mockup showing a suggested neutral silver frame and a mat overlapping the edges slightly. The crop is not exact and that can be determined by the buyer.
