I recently spent 7 days exploring the landscape of the West, just east of the Cascade Mountains. In the city the clouds may operate independently of the city below, but in the Western landscape land and cloud are in continual conversation. The clouds seem to take instruction from the mountains and the plains, and reshape themselves hourly in response to the wide expanse below. After being under pandemic lock-down in the city the sight of the great Western landscape took my breath away. I made these prints to remind myself of the sense of freedom and expanse that lies just over the horizon, if I just lift my head and look.
This series of intimate prints is priced affordably and can be hung individually or in series, salon style. Each print is signed at the bottom of the sheet for maximum flexibility in framing. If you would like help on choosing an affordable framing source I am happy to consult with you, and help you to customize the look of the prints for your home. Images shown here suggest a mat and simple dark wood or maple frames, although brushed silver is also a lovely choice.
