Image size 19.5x 13" (22x17" sheet size,) in an edition of 35, $350
Image size 33 x 22" (Variable border/sheet size,) in an edition of 5, $1,650
On canvas by special order. Available also as a duotone (see last image in photos.)
I recently spent 7 days exploring the landscape of the West, just east of the Cascade Mountains. In the city the clouds may operate independently of the city below, but in the Western landscape land and cloud are in continual conversation. The clouds seem to take instruction from the mountains and the plains, and reshape themselves hourly in response to the wide expanse below. After being under pandemic lock-down in the city the sight of the great Western landscape took my breath away. I made these prints to remind myself of the sense of freedom and expanse that lies just over the horizon, if I just lift my head and look.
This image from the forest has a great deal of detail, and is meant to be viewed in a large format. It is shown here in two sizes, framed with approximately 2 inches of mat (or unprinted paper for the largest size.) Prints are signed just below the image in light pencil. If you would like help on choosing an affordable framing source I am happy to consult with you, and help you to customize the look of the prints for your home. Images shown here suggest a mat and simple dark wood or maple frames, although brushed silver is also a lovely choice.
*Prints are sold unframed. Due to the difference in monitor settings on various devices I cannot guarantee that the color match of what you receive will be exact compared to what the listing shows.
