I have started a new set of prints about urban displacement and place, titled “Dwell.” Here are the first images, as I look at a city in flux through different visual languages.

All of the new work is large-scale archival pigment prints, inspired by the streetscape around me as Seattle witnesses an unprecedented construction boom. I use my own photographs, serigraph and other printmaking techniques to collage a new way of looking at architecture and space. All images © Iskra Johnson
